There are three new posts below (one from yesterday and two for this morning). That will have to hold you for a while. I’m going on vacation (yes, again), so my blog will also be on vacation. I don’t think I will have Internet where I am going. We’re headed to southwest Virginia with the motorcycle in the back of the truck. Some motorcycling friends are also going and we will be staying in a cabin on the Blue Ridge Parkway. If the weather holds, we hope to do a lot of riding and see some beautiful sites. I am keeping my fingers crossed for cooler climes. On the way back, we will pick up youngest son who has been working as a white water guide at a Boy Scout camp. He has had a great summer, but wants some time to play before school begins again. Look for me back in a little over a week with lots of new stories to tell. I have a habit though of planning my next vacation as soon as I arrive home from the last. It gives me something to look forward to you know. The next trip will be another girls week away. Next spring, my friends and I are heading back to John Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina for some fun and learning. So, while you are waiting for me to come back from vacation, give yourself a treat and peruse the web site for the John Campbell Folk School. The 2009 class schedule has just been posted. It is a wonderful place where the emphasis is on the process not the product. You meet great people, eat marvelous food and learn a new or refine an old craft. Sign up for a class or two. Maybe we will run into each other there. www.folkschool.org Check it out.
