Actually, it is a community meeting house called the Village Improvement Association Hall or VIA Hall. It is still in use, has been restored and is on the National Regsiter. The house to the left of it also still stands. The large oak you can see in the background is still there, too. The area around there was farmland so that is why there are not trees or brush. It has since grown up. This is all a block from my house.
Wow! Is that house still there? I would love to be able to go back in time and see Florida in about 1850.
