How cheeky am I to display my book alongside the award winning Florida author Patrick Smith? |
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. Proverbs 25:11 (NKJV)
Tonight on Wordless Wednesday, I am posting more than just a picture and calling for help from fellow bloggers. Many of you read Eliza’s Story as it was posted here on my blog now almost seven years ago. Today, it is finally available in print and on Kindle! Before I do a promotion of the book, I need some people to post reviews on Amazon. If you are willing to post a review and have a Kindle or the Kindle app on your IPAD or computer, I can send you a copy of the ebook as a gift. All I ask you to do is go back on to Kindle and post a review when you are done. I have to admit that I have a nervous tummy over asking for reviews, “What if someone does not like it? What if they find my history or my theology off base? What if they take offense to my treatment of the slave, Henry, or the Seminole chief, Billy Bowlegs?” To generate attention to the book, I need to take that risk though I ask you if you find some glaring mistake to let me know so I can fix it before it officially is launched. (That is the wonder of the digital printing business, changes can be made before any more copies are distributed!) If you do not have a Kindle or access to that technology (sorry, Nooks don’t work), let me know and I will make you a deal on a paperback copy. I am excited, stressed, apprehensive, happy and thankful all at the same time. I pray that Eliza’s Story will bless readers and glorify God. I know that God has opened this door and thank Him and Cherie Hill of WriteSource Publishing for the courage to walk through it.
I read a big a big chunk of it back then. Email me so we can work out the details!
I have never read it, so it will be totally fresh in my eyes. No Kindle though. I'll have to wait for the book.
Oooo!!! I just bought it on Amazon – AND I got The Bible mini-series that was just on the History Channel for 29.95! I almost feel like I won the lottery.
Cathy, I never have read it. We have a Kindle Fire and iPad. Would love to read it and give a review!
